iPad Air (M2) in 2026: the iPad most people should actually buy

For most people who want more than the base iPad, an iPad Air is the right choice. The M2 model is the one to get if you find it at a good discount. What you give up A 60Hz LCD instead of the Pro’s 120Hz OLED, a single rear camera, and slightly less polish in the speakers and build. Compared with the M4 Air, you give up 4GB of RAM and Wi-Fi 7. For the price difference, most people will not care. 11-inch or 13-inch? The 11-inch is easier to hold in one hand, better for reading in bed and lighter to carry. The 13-inch is much better for split-screen work, drawing and watching films, and it has a slightly brighter screen. If you plan to use it with a keyboard as a laptop replacement, get the 13-inch.
