Galaxy Book4 Pro: Samsung's honest answer to the MacBook Pro

Samsung's 14-inch Book4 Pro gets closer to the MacBook Pro than any Windows laptop has a right to. It weighs 1.17kg, the 3K 120Hz AMOLED is the best panel in a laptop this size, and the aluminium chassis is genuinely rigid. If you already live in the Samsung ecosystem, the tight phone-tablet-laptop handoff is the real selling point. The compromises are the usual Windows ones. Intel's Core Ultra 7 155H is efficient but not fast, battery life is good rather than MacBook-good, and the port layout skews thin. It is an excellent machine that reminds you, every time you unplug it, that Apple Silicon is still ahead on the fundamentals.
